I Went Looking for a Game Mod and Found a Hot-Pink Obsession

Her curiosity about a game-controlled toy nearly became an awkward confession when her sister intercepted the package. Luckily, the terrible cover story worked, and Ferri proved worth every uncomfortable moment.

I first discovered Lovense through a game. Didnapper had a mod called Overkill, and one of its features was Lovense integration. It was the first time I had heard of a toy that could be controlled through a game, especially one from overseas. Before that, I only knew about manually operated toys.

I was tempted because I had never owned or used a toy. I figured buying one would be worth it for the experience. I did a lot of research because I knew absolutely nothing about toys, and they weren't exactly cheap. The official website didn't ship directly to my country, so it took me a while to find a third-party seller with the toy I wanted and a payment method I could use.

When the package finally arrived, I was at an event and my sister received it. It was a tiny, unpaid package worth around $128. I immediately had that "This is the moment, I f*cked up" meme feeling.
I had bought it secretly, so I thought I would have a LOT of explaining to do. Welp, I told her it was some kind of computer part. That was why it was so small and expensive.

A HOT-PINK computer chip.
Yeah, right... but somehow it worked.

I loved the hot-pink Ferri and couldn't wait to try it when I got home. Honestly, it worked better than my hands. It also left my hands free for other things, which made it even more convenient. It was pricey, but I think it was worth it. Years later, it still works, and it's still waterproof.

Now, years after that first purchase, I somehow own four Lovense toys. What started as curiosity about a game turned into a collection I definitely didn't see coming.
